Anyone over the age of 18 who satisfies the identification requirements can apply for SecureNet Certificates services.

Personal Certificate

You can choose to apply to SNC to identify yourself as an individual. This is known as an ‘Application for Personal Services’. You can choose to have your certificate in your name or with an anonymous reference number (like a silent telephone number).


Corporate Certificate

You can apply for a certificate that identifies your organisation and is based on the position you hold in that organisation. This is known as an ‘Application for Organisation Services’ and SNC will accept applications from the following organisations:

Sole traders
Companies
Partnerships
Clubs or Associations
Company or Individual Trusts


Server Certificate

SNC can issue your organisation with a server certificate to enable identification and authentication of your website. This is known as an ‘Application for Server Certificate Services’.
